Placing your order for kitchen cabinets is perhaps the most exciting part of your kitchen renovation. Thanks to the detailed process that has led up to this point, you can undertake this step with utmost confidence, knowing exactly what you will be getting and what the finished room will look like. Now it is time to finalize the other important details with our exclusive Advisory Program.


It generally takes six to eight weeks to build your cabinetry, depending on the quantity and complexity. This is the perfect time to orchestrate the final details that will make your room a custom creation, such as:

• Custom kitchen electrical and lighting plans
• Plumbing selections
• Cabinet hardware selection from our showroom
• Tile design selection, placement and grout color options
• Flooring material selection and installation planning
• Countertop material and color
• Coordinating paint for walls, ceiling and trim
• Decorative decisions on tables and chairs, and any other materials to compliment the design

As you have seen, the more details presented, and the greater the communication among all involved, the better the final result will be. Your cabinet installers will already have exact specifications on what cabinets to order, where they will go and how they will be installed. In the Advisory phase, we can provide the same level of detail for the other members of your kitchen contractor team: plumbers, lighting installers, countertop and tile installers, painters and electricians.

More than 90 percent of our kitchen design clients request – and recommend – our Advisory Program because a kitchen renovation is a major investment that should not be left to chance. Many questions arise in the course of the actual contracting work; for example: Which direction should floor tile or wood planks face? Where should seams of a granite countertop be placed? Where should instant hot water taps and soap dispensers be located for safety and convenience?

These issues typically do come up, and the contractors will look to the homeowner for answers. When you allow us to manage the full range of your installation services, you can rest assured we provide the answers. We can arrange meetings with the contractors in our showroom to go over plans and discuss the scope of the project. Quality contractors always appreciate concrete, exact directions and detailed plans. The end result: No delays, no misunderstandings or miscalculations.

Our Advisory Program is a perfect complement to our total kitchen cabinet design services, which encompasses a kitchen design consultation, an at-home survey, detailed computer renderings and cabinet floor plans. The advisory service takes it a step further, making all phases of the general contracting phase flow as seamlessly as the cabinet design itself. And it can be tailored to your needs, ranging from expert advice on decorative features to full-scale coordination of all kitchen design elements.

Choose among four packages:

Package #1 – Decorative Services. Let us help coordinate the best selections for tile, hardware, flooring, paint, plumbing and more.

Package #2 – Lighting Plan Suggestions. Let our professional kitchen designers prepare a lighting plan specific to your cooking needs and desire to highlight your beautiful finished cabinets.

Package #3 – Cabinet Installation Advisory Service. This plan is highly recommended if you prefer to hire your own installer. It includes a detailed contractor folder with comprehensive drawings; detailed cabinet and decorative plans; lighting plans, if you choose this option; and a pre-construction meeting.

Package #4 – Deluxe Package. This combines packages #1 and #2, & 3 plus a full “Detail List” that helps contractors understand the scope of work and seek competitive pricing. We also coordinate the construction and installation phase of your project.
